In keeping with the latest recommendations for patient health and safety, QMA is taking some steps to protect our patients and community from the Coronavirus.
- At this time we will be rescheduling non-urgent appointments to later this month and beyond.
- As of March 23rd, due to the escalating COVID-19 emergency, Northwell Cancer Institute offices are prohibiting all visitors. If you have questions, please let the next representative know.
- If you bring someone, please make sure the person feels well and does NOT have flu-like symptoms.
- Staff are wearing masks to protect patients. In accordance with CDC advice, we are only to providing masks to patients for whom there is demonstrated need.
If you, or the person accompanying you to your appointment have traveled internationally in the last 14 days OR have had close contact with a person with Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last 14 days please call the office prior to scheduling an appointment. Symptoms can include fever, cough, rash or shortness of breath.
